Happy Halloween Driveway Decorations
Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Halloween. Normally I don't put up a big display of Halloween decorations, but this year we are in a contest. The contest is through North Reading Parks and Recreation in our town. You can buy the starter kit for $25, which is just a face painted burlap head with 1 x 4 in the shape of a cross for the body. Since it's through the parks and recreation dept. in our town, I thought our display would be fun for kids to see. I made the minions with Gru who looking to go to the pumpkin patch in our town.

Create curb appeal for your home
Good Morning,
Does your home lack curb appeal? It's the first thing people see when they visit or are just driving by. Is the front of your home warm and inviting? There are hundreds of ways to spruce up your home's curb appeal. Many are inexpensive.

Country Style Gardening
Good Morning,
Happy Mothers' Day today. I will be out in the garden planting this pretty pink Mophead Hydrangea from my boys with a country style twist before the rain rolls in.
I think it will be a nice touch to add this bright pink hydrangea to the front of the house where the property opens up as you come down the long driveway. Just on the other side I planted a crab apple, which will make a nice combo for the garden.
Since I don't have Osmocote, a slow releasing fertilizer, I will be using a 10-10-10 fertilizer with this hydrangea.
Check back in later to see what I've done with this hydrangea and for some curb appeal ideas for you home.

Brighten up your Sun Bleached and Faded Pillows with this Tip
Hello Once again it's been awhile since I've last posted. I have been very busy with so many projects going on. Is the sun ruining your furniture and fabrics? You'd be surprised, but even indirect sunlight will bleach out furniture and fabrics over a period of time.

Kitchen Clock transformation using Fabric Sample
Hello Everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are enjoying this much warmer weather. During my mom's move a couple month's ago, her favorite kitchen clock broke. She had the face of the clock propped up on her counter. Her way of salvage is different than mine. It looked broken and was sitting sideways. She refused to throw it away. I took it and gave it a quick makeover.
