Happy Holidays Bring on 2016

Hello... I hope you had a super fun filled Christmas. We certainly did considering we were not feeling 100 % as the flu swept through our house affecting us over a 3 week period.  We made the most of a happy holiday.

A family tradition we started when our son was born is to head over to the mall for a picture with Santa and have dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe. This is the same Santa he's had his photo with for the past 6 years.  It's nice to look back and see how much he's grown in comparison to the year before.  We skipped the Cafe this year,  but made it a point to see Santa. This year he brought Mario and Luigi to see Santa.

It was a full moon this Christmas Eve . Beyond the trees it lit up the sky. My mom took her dog out for a walk at 8 pm and told our son she saw Santa and the reindeer pass in front of the moon. He ran outside to see and stared at the moon waiting. A few minutes later he came in and said , '' mom and honey, we have to go to bed now, grandma saw Santa up by the moon...he's coming, c'mon let's go. "  It was the cutest thing to watch him run around with excitement.

Hope your Christmas was as wonderful as ours. See you in 2016 as I have lots of
DIY projects to share with you and a house we are tearing down in the historical district of Winchester.
