Decorated Kitchen Window for Christmas

I am so unbelievably late with decorating this year.  It has been so busy the past few weeks.  All my ' junk ' from that demo house is still loaded in the trailer at the shop , going to the Patriots games , and now all this snow.  He has to get all the trucks ready for plowing and it just snowballs from there.
I actually had a moment to get the kitchen window decorated today.  We went shopping for our Christmas tree this evening.  If  we didn't go tonight then  who knows when we would be able to go with more snow coming tomorrow.  Very hectic ...

I just added a bunch greenery , some small decorations and changed the flowers in the vase.

I like it much better with the greenery.

The glass trucks are heavily guarded by myself.  If I see the ' boys ' with a ball in this area, I warn them and remind them of my glass trucks.

I had other ideas , but this year is going to be  ' what you see is what you get '.

In the next day or two I will be working on our mantel and decorating our tree.
If you are wondering about all the trucks well this is what we do.  I took time out from my truck to raise our son but it's waiting for me.

This is my other baby.
Here I am driving oversize loads while 5 months pregnant and fat .  I was up in Maine working 12 hour days pulling these  T 's for a parking garage for a hospital in Bangor.  I had morning sickness for most of the day and the smell of diesel was like icing on the cake.

This is what the loads looked like.  I stayed working up until 6 months pregnant and the bouncing in the truck just became too much to handle.  Not to mention pulling the heavy chains , binders and climbing onto the loads to secure them.  The pace was fast to keep the loads coming to feed the crane.

Then there was days you would see trucks rolled over from the weather being so bad with the snow.  Maine doesn't plow overnight so it makes it dangerous if you have appointments to pickup or deliver.

This was a truck that must of headed on down the road during the storm and the roads weren't clear or treated.
If I can locate the picks then I can show you my honey's trucks.
As much as I miss driving my little red Pete , I don't want to miss a minute of being with my 4 yr old and watching him learn and grow.  They grow up so fast and I don't want to miss a minute of it.
